22nd Jan – Intro Talk: "Christianity: Boring, Irrelevant, Untrue?"

Former soccer agent, and present day business / leadership coach / church leader Paul will sharing some of his own fascinating journey to take refreshing look at how authentic Christianity can sometimes get lost amidst common misconceptions and pale imitations of the real thing.

29th Jan - "Who is Jesus?"
John Hampson
Partner, Croftons Solicitors
Part time Deputy District Judge and litigation specialist, John will be critically examining the claims made about Jesus and the reliability of the evidence available.

5th Feb – "Why did Jesus die?"

Formerly in Human Resources and Industrial Relations with Rolls Royce and Matchbox before entering the ministry, Steve is a warm and very accessible communicator with a passion for explaining the significance of the crucifixion.

After legal career with Addleshaw Goddard and latterly Hempsons, where he was a partner in their commercial department, Charlie launched his own corporate effectiveness consultancy. He now advises and coaches a wide variety of businesses and individuals across the north.

26th Feb - "Why and how do I pray?"
Debra Green
Director, City Links
Author of "City Changing Prayer" and the driving force behind an organisation that seeks to facilitate social and spiritual transformation in communities (including Manchester) through prayer and practical action. She is also a leader at Ivy Cottage Church, Didsbury.

4th Mar - "How does God guide us?"

Joelle is one of the region’s foremost female entrepreneurs, and has launched and grown a nationally acclaimed executive recruitment business. Prior to moving into recruitment she spent ten years in a variety of management roles with Lloyds Bank in London and Cheshire.

18th Mar - "Does God Heal Today?"
Chris Summerton
Consultant in Gastroenterology and General Medicine
Trafford General Hospital
Coming to faith whilst studying Medicine at Cambridge University, Chris will be investigating God’s role in both traditional medicine and the more miraculous accounts of healing.
